In mid-2022, a family friend sought our help in funding his cattle operation in rural Olancho, Honduras, after facing financial hardship from the COVID-19 crisis. At the time, the Honduran beef industry was cash-strapped, and global commodity prices were rising.

Seeing an opportunity, we explored a partnership and decided it was a worthwhile investment. We pitched the idea to friends and family, pooling resources to buy cattle. This led us to launch a business case study on the profitability of Honduran beef production, ultimately culminating in the formal establishment of D y D Investments S.A. de C.V. in May 2024.

American Investors visit Cattle Operation

The founders, born into a Honduran family business in meat distribution since 1969, witnessed firsthand the COVID-19 market crash and supply chain failures. Small to mid-size producers, lacking access to capital and global buyers, were hit hardest. This inspired them to establish a company dedicated to unlocking Honduras' agricultural potential.
